If your toilet won't flush...

You likely have a clog in the pipe. You can typically dislodge a clog using a plunger. Be careful not to flush the toilet while attempting to unclog it, as this could cause the toilet to overflow.

Sink / Shower Clogs

Sink and shower clogs are also common, as hair and other debris washes down the drain and builds up.

Most sink clogs can be resolved by removing the U-pipe under the sink and manually pulling out the clog.

Shower clogs may need some additional elbow grease. First, you can try remedies like pouring boiling water down the drain to see if that loosens the clog.

For more serious clogs, you'll need to use a hand auger or contact our team.

If you lose electrical power...

Contact your utility provider to determine the cause of the problem. There may be localized outages or billing issues with your account.

After speaking with the utility company, if you need additional help, contact us.

If you run out of hot water access in your rental home, locate your water heater and verify that all settings on the tank are accurate. Is the tank set to vacation mode? Is the pilot light lit? (Only relevant for gas-powered heaters)

If you make any changes to your temperature settings, wait 15 to 20 minutes before testing the water again.

If your heat or air conditioning isn't working, check the central thermostat in your home. Verify that all settings are correct.

You may be able to cycle your HVAC system off and back on again to restore the defaults.
